Meeting Reminder

ALASKA SPORT FISHING ASSOCIATION ELECTION MEETING THIS TUESDAY, 14 NOVEMBER

Greetings!

 

The third meeting of the Alaska Sport Fishing Association for the 2017-2018 period is mikro peos aitia this Tuesday November 14th at 6:30 pm, Denny’s restaurant, corner of Benson & Denali.

dating sites for dogs femme site de rencontre Any member of the public may become a member at this meeting εμφυτευματα στηθουσ and participate in the November 14th Officer Election Meeting.  Some of the current officers are looking to retire.

Those interested in running for President, Vice President, Secretary/ Treasurer should attend and be prepared to indicate why they are interested and wish to be considered for one of those positions.

We also want to elect/appoint ASFA Chapter Directors for Anchorage, Mat-Su, JBER, Fairbanks, Kenai, Homer and Seward.

Additionally, we are seeking Project Directors for the following initiatives:

  1. Integration Project Director, to integrate other organizations into ASFA to      increase influence with the BOF and the State Legislature.
  2. Leadworks Operations Director to assume this fundraising project.
  3. Membership Director, to increase our membership and therefore influence.
  4. Board of Fish representative and Proposals Director.
  5. Ship Creek Cleanup & Enhancement Director to direct that project.

Lee Leschper is our new Media & Website Director and will manage our website and other social media.  You may contact him at 957-6025.

Gary Gernstein is our new Hope Access & Facility Initiative Director and will move this initiative forward.  You may contact him at ggernstein@alaskan.com.

All these positions offer the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the Sport & Subsistence communities in Alaska and can provide significant individual personal fulfillment. Details & descriptions of each position can be had by calling Martin Meigs at 250-5232.

Our new website is up and running.  Expect considerable expansion and utility in the near future!  We are endeavoring to make it a one stop source for all relevant sport fishing information.  We also have a Facebook page, Alaska Sport Fishing Association.  Join and participate!
